Q. What is Endo Pharmaceuticals?
A. We are a
fully integrated specialty pharmaceutical company with market
leadership in pain management. We are engaged in
the research, development, sale and marketing of
branded and generic prescription pharmaceuticals
used primarily to treat and manage pain.
Endo has a portfolio of
branded products that includes established brand names such as the Lidoderm®
patch and Percocet® tablets, and newer products including Frova®,
Opana® ER, and Opana®. Branded products comprised approximately 69%,
71% and 80% of net sales for fiscal years 2004,
2005 and 2006, respectively.
Through a national internal sales force of approximately 690 sales
representatives, we market our branded,
patent-protected pharmaceutical products to doctors,
retail pharmacies and other healthcare professionals throughout the United
States.

We have not declared or paid any dividends on its capital stock since our
inception. The payment of cash dividends is subject to the discretion of the
Endo board of directors and will be dependent on many factors, including Endo's
earnings, capital needs and general financial condition. We currently
anticipate that, for the foreseeable future, we will retain our earnings in
order to finance the expansion of our business.
